COVID-19 hospitalization trends and restrictive public health measures

Client: Research team, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Project: Visualizing the correlation between prevention measures and changes in COVID-19 trends in Israel

Adding a contemporary look to Matlab-exported timeline graphs of COVID-19 hospitalizations of severe patients and respiratory-aided patients, and combining them with a list of events of prevention and restrictive measures may provide a better understanding of the effect and timing of measures. Constant growth trends are shown with the doubling times.

Deliverable: PowerPoint slides were presented via Zoom to Israel’s Ministry of Health.

The presentation was mentioned in the Calcalist economic daily newspaper (PDF available at the newspaper’s website).
