I was living in San Francisco, CA when the Israeli Cartoon Museum called me up with an invitation to participate in “X + Y, Israeli comics from 1995 to 2010” – an exhibition surveying the work of 80 Israeli comics artists of generations X and Y. The rich exhibition was accompanied by a catalog which carries a significant weight (I’d say a pound! – see photo).
My comics were being regularly published in Ha’aretz and in Yedi’oth Tikshoret for a nice chunk of this period. It was great to see them again, and crack up at my own jokes of yesteryear. I was also invited to add my signature to the museum’s “wall of fame“, to the delight of young admirers (see photo).
