Few great artists live to see their artwork sold for piles of money in auctions – and in 2014, I came closer than ever to achieving this goal! It appears that a single copy of my first publication – an underground comic that landed me in trouble as a teenager – was treasured by collectors and now put on an art auction among items belonging to the nation’s founding fathers. Results were encouraging (it was sold for USD $517) – but the only amount that increased on my end was the amount of stories to tell. Not quite a match to a Ben Gurion napkin – yet, I say!
